which btech branch uh can take to become junior engineering. or government jobs engineering..?
Hi Aspirant,
There are several strong branches of which you can be accepted and apply for a position.
- For computer Science and engineering: There is a very High demand for CSE graduates in the IT sector. Many private businesses are recruiting in this sector.
- For the Chemical Engineering Branch: Chemical engineers are basically called flexible engineers. Since they can get jobs in a variety of industries and fields. They can easily get jobs in some of the major and reputable PSU's like-GAIL, BHEL, ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, etc. And they can also get jobs in private companies like HPL, etc., along with these PSU.
- For ECE ones: They have a high level of job in many companies such as NTPC, Power Grid, BHEL, BEL, etc.
- Civil engineering and mechanical engineering are used in both the private and public sectors.
- There are also several PSU's that hire BTech degree holders in ECE/EEE/EE/Chemical through their own exams, such as BARC, ISRO, CIL, etc.
From Overall conclusion, ECE, CSE, EE, and chemical engineering have more potential for jobs in India.
But if you're looking for a good PSU job, then you have to crack GATE/ESE or UPSC or SSC JEE, etc. regardless of your branch. And if you want private jobs, then a lot of campus recruiters are private companies and you can get to them.
Thank you
