Hello candidate...
To be eligible for the Bachelor's in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course, a candidate should have passed the class 12th (+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Admission to most veterinary colleges is done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the state and university concerned with a Common entrance test every year .[At State level]
At national level VCI [Veterinary Council Of India] concerned with conducting All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT). Through this test,15% All India Quota seatsin the Veterinary Colleges in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State) and 85% state quota seats in the veterinary colleges of participating states is being filled. The examination was held once in a year.AIPVT 2017examination has been replace by NEET 2017 exam.
Those who want to pursue master degree in veterinary science or animal husbandry must have completed Bachelors degree in Veterinary Science.
