When compared to all colleges and all branches, the branch you've mentioned is having good placements and also if you're interested in it. Definitely, you'll get into good one. My choice is you to get into IIT'S/NIT'S but if there's no scope better to go join in private universities.

Go for the colleges in south....they have good placement records for ece,te,cse,it.
