Yes, NIT, Surat is a decent enough college for Masters in Science (MSc) in physics. The colleges campus is nice, there are hostel facilities available, the placements seem adequate and the fees is around INR 84,000. Many IT companies such as Infosys, Wipro and CTS are recruiting M.Sc Physics graduates for software jobs. - One can get job in Energy Plants. - One can even apply for jobs in many companies in automobile industry such as Maruti Udyog, TATA Motors and Tech Mahindra. This college is very good because of the placements, good infrastructure, etc. Placements: Placements in our college are good. In nit surat mechanical engineering is best branch among others. If you want a sure seat in cse branch of svnit surat, then you have to score at least above 99.6 percentile. That means your rank must be under 5000 from general category from other state quota ( i have assumed you a general category, as you haven't mentioned any ).
