Which college in Delhi placement is better And which course provide by college which placement is good
1) Nostalgia: This happens mainly during the last few days of college. Your whole outlook to the college changes. Unlike in the earlier days, when you felt like avoiding and bunking college, now you start looking for excuses to go to college and meet your friends. Memories of your first day in college and of the first time you met each of your friends come flooding back to you.
For every place in the college that you visit - be it the hostels, the mech canteen, even the classrooms - you realize that this could be the last time you are visiting that place, and it brings back a lot of (mostly happy) memories about that place.
You realize that there are a lot of people, both students and teachers, whom you might be meeting for the last time in your life, and you want to meet them, and say goodbye. You want to meet your friends as many times as possible, knowing that such meetings will be much rarer in future. There is also a definite increase in the number of pictures being clicked and uploaded ;)
2) Happiness / Relief: Yes.. I am officially an Engineer now!
This happens when you finally clear all your exams. You feel proud of yourself, and relieved that things went smoothly (and that you won't have to make 10 visits to the admin/academic block just because someone mis-typed 79 as 39 on your last semester mark-sheet :P) You can finally add Er. before your name now, and your parents can proudly say, "Humara beta engineer hai :)" Also, you have several days of complete freedom in front of you!
3) Boredom: This happened specifically in my case. Unfortunately i chose a joining date of 30th July for my job, which was nearly 2 months after the last exam. The first month was good fun, but I was bored out of my wits in July. Most of my friends had already started their job, my parents are both working, and i had no-one to talk to and nothing to do (seriously, how many movies can a person watch??). I couldn't wait for July to end, when I would start my job.
4) Excitement / Nervousness: This happens just before you start your job. You are excited to meet new people, learn many new things, and actually do something useful! However, it is quite normal to feel a bit nervous and some familiar questions surface: What will my new job be like? What will the people be like? Will I fit in? Will I be able to cope? and so on..
5) Contentment: You finally begin to get used to your new job (and your new home if you had to shift) and you make lots of new friends. You realize that what you learned in college was a very very minute fraction of what is actually required in the real world (and you wish your college course was a little more up to date :P). Gradually you settle down into your new life.
6) A twinge of regret: "You regret only those things which you end up not doing". Believe me, this statement holds perfectly true. You realize there was so much more you could have done in college, so much you could have learnt, so many more people you could have got to know and you wish you had done some of those things..
7) Nostalgia - again: You watch on Facebook as your juniors go through the same process - final exams, placements, farewells - and everything comes flooding back to you again!
