Apart from IITs, VIT is having a good placement if you are smart enough to grab the topics easily and can maintain a pretty decent CGPA. It also depends upon the branch you have selected. Like CS and IT are having the best placement over here in terms of numbers of student being placed and the highest package offered followed by Mechanical, EEE, and others. So the thing is be careful with the branch. Same applied to colleges of COMEDK such as RVCE, BMS, MSRIT, PES. These are few good colleges in Bangalore with pretty good placements and the selection of branch is very important in these too. The CS is again having a very good placement over here but if you will opt for mechanical in these colleges then you are going to be screwed and will end up with a job in IT sector so the thing is be careful while selecting the branch. If you are opting for Mechanical in VIT and you are performing well over there with good co/extra curricular activities then you will end up in good automobile companies such as ford, maruti, hyundai, fiat,tata motors, mahindra,escorts,etc and some other core companies such as vedanta, waroc,wbtech,L&T, applied materials etc.I think this will be sufficient for you to take a decision..
