Both the colleges are good colleges and both are private colleges.Chitkara University is approved by UGC and is accrediated by AIU while Chandigarh Group of college is Approved by AICTE and is accrediated by NBA.

IF we compare both the above colleges in terms of placement then as per the resources it seems that Chandigarh group of college has better placement than Chitkara University.

Both are private colleges but chitkara university is approved by UGC and CGC group of colleges is approved by AICTE. Coming to placements, records of both universities are good. Both provide almost 90% placements on campus and mostly CSE students get placed. Last year highest package was around 31.77 lakhs in CGC offered by Amazon and average package was around 8 lakhs per annum in CGC. But you will get more opportunities in CU as they provide special training to students after every 2 semester, also there is more number of faculty in CU.
