Automation and Robotics Engineering is the use of control systems and information technologies to reduce the need for human work in the production of goods and services. In the scope of industrialization, automation is a step beyond mechanization.there are many universities and colleges which provide M.TECH program in robotics and automatioN. but for that you need a base, I will recommend to take B.Tech degree in mechatronics which will get you a base of robotics and then while in your masters you will have a clarity of which field you want to get in to like control systems, automation, robotics which have its own branches so choose wisely.
