Hello,

The eligibility for UPSC Civil Service is to have attained 21 years age and graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, even final students are eligible to apply.
You can enroll in any college with your choice of course, there's no discrimination done amidst the choices, hence UPSC allows people from all discipline to appear for it.
And,most importantly to be able to succeed in UPSC requires a lot more than good college and degree, it's solely your preparation and strategy that helps you achieve the goals. It requires one year of preparation and one year to appear for exam and interview, this is the schedule, if you plan right, you'll succeed in the very first attempt.

Hello! Hope you are doing good

IAS preparation is all about hard work and self study. For the basic steps watch the interviews of the people who have already qualified the prestigious exam to understand what kind of dedication this exam demands.

When you are ready to dive in the river of knowledge, make sure you have the syllabus printed with you. The syllabus is very apt and mentioned properly so everything under the sun need not be known.

In college, pursue the course you like and take out time for studying the IAS material as well. No college is good or bad it depends on us how we take it. Use the best of your time and stay motivated.

Hope it helps.
