According to National Institutionalised Ranking Framework developed by HRD Ministry, Govt. of India, only one institute from Orissa - SEEMANTA INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES, Baripada made it into the list of Top 50 Pharmacy colleges in India at the rank 49 with an overall score of 48.5

The college offers 66 seats for B.Pharma

Howevever, one of the cons of Seemanta Institute is that it is a private institution and hence the fee would be more when compared to government institutions.

No other college from Orissa in the past three years has been in the top 50 pharmacy colleges in India list.
