Hello,

Both these colleges are one of the oldest and good colleges to pursue engineering. There is only a little difference between these two colleges but PES is on the higher edge. The NIRF ranking of PES is 83 and that of BMS is 98. If you don't have financial issues, then go for PES otherwise BMS is not a bad option too.

Placements are better in PES as compared to BMS.

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

  • Infrastructure
  • Curriculum
  • Faculties
  • Placement

See infrastructurally PESU is far better compared to that of the BMSIT. Now in terms of the curriculum also PESU is more industry oriented compared to that of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi . Now both the colleges have amazing faculties so there are not much of a difference, but the faculty strength is much more in PESU compared to that of BMSIT. Now for ME both the college have moderate placements although, PESU offers better placement packages compared to that of BMSIT. So its better to go for PESU as it offers more opportunities and exposure for you.
