Aircraft Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineering is a license course approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
The Bombay Flying Club offers a combined course for A.M.E. Plus B.Sc. In aeronautics. The B.Sc. Degree is affiliated to Mumbai University. Although there's no percentage limitation for A.M.E. But the minimum percentage required for B.Sc. In 12th Science with PCM subjects is 45% (for general / open category )
IITs conduct undergraduate courses in Aeronautical Engineering of which Aircraft Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineering is a part.The qualified students are also considered eligible for M.Tech Applications of IITs, Birla Institute of Technology Ranchi and Madras Institute of Technology.
