GMR Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh offers a 4-year full-time B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering with a total fee of Rs. 4.2 lakhs. It offers admission through both JEE Main exam marks and AP EAMCET exam.

According to last year placement records around 60-70% of the total batch was placed with an average package offered as Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum, the highest package offered as Rs. 7 lakhs per annum and minimum package offered as Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum. According to last year placement records around 640 students got placed from all the branches (50-60%) and most of the students in CSE, ECE branch were placed. The highest package offered was Rs. 12 lakhs per annum, the lowest package offered was Rs. 3 lakhs per annum. Among a huge lot of companies which visited the campus, there were some of the well-known companies like TCS, Yahoo, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini etc. About 50-60 percent of students got the internship from the college. The highest stipend offered was around Rs. 15,000, and the lowest is about Rs. 5,000. Many of the students got around Rs. 7000 - Rs. 12000.

Both of them are equally good college but still, if you want to make a choice then you can look forward to going for SRKR over GMR.
