NIT jalandhar and NIT Raipur are somewhat alike in many terms, their fee structure is similar, but as far as the placements are concerned, NIT Raipur has a better placement than NIT jalandhar, but on the other hand, NIT Jalandhar has a good infrastructure and a good environment, it's NIRF ranking is better than that of NIT Raipur. On the overall comparison of two, I will suggest you to opt for NIT Jalandhar.

Now Coming to your query, as per student reviews, NIT Jalandhar is better than NIT Raipur because of its good infrastructure, good alumni base, Better placement status from the last few years, good environment, etc. But if you want to be in the city then NIT Raipur is the center of the map so you can choose NIT Raipur.
