Hi,
Being a student of Amrita myself,i feel i am most suited to answer this question
Amrita campuses can guarantee an ambient atmosphere for your studies away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The teachers are pretty much like what you get in any other college in India. You would be guaranteed placements provided you maintain a decent enough GPA.
The Average package is close to 4lac and the highest is 26 lacs.
The rankings, both national and international have ranked Amrita quite highly.
The rules are a bit strict and if you don'y abide by them, then you could join Chandigarh University.
I appreciate the fact that you had also passed out from Amrita but the thing is that there will be a gap of almost 1 decade between you passing out and me, so I would like to reask this question keeping in mind the next 4 years happening to me. So please if you don't mind can you tell me the name of the campus you passed out from???
I am a bit hesitant in Amrita because I feel that the campus is a bit small as compared to Chandigarh University and that they will tell u about the companies and placement records achieved by them which Amrita doesn't show on their website.
Chandigarh uni. hosts compankes like Google, Microsoft and many more every year where I don't see any such thing happening in Amrita...
So you could clear the doubt then please!!!
