First i will talk about GCRG irrespective of the branch and highlight it's best course.

Placements : The faculty of the mechanical branch is good in this college. Every year companies come for the placements. In 2017 LG company has come and then the TCS. Some students qualified in GATE exam 2018. In past year 90% of the students from mechanical and other branch were placed in these companies.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of GCRG is 36 acres now. In which luxury hall, hostel, library and classroom are present. In GCRG, the hospital is on the 8th floor which is fulfilled with multi-requirements. There are individual classrooms for each engineering department. Once you are here, you will know the comforts of the facilities.

Faculty : In GCRG college teachers are very faithful, helpful. The teachers are qualified such as some teachers have their PhD, and some teachers have come from IIT college such as IIT -M, IIT Varanasi, IIT Kanpur. In GCRG 3 days study and 3 days practicals are held for each subject.

The package of both colleges is pretty similar and the percentage of students being placed is also kind of similar so yeah both are good but if i had to decide, i would say GCRG is better slightly

I suggest you to prefer GCRG of lucknow over Ashoka institute of technology. It has impressive rating of 3.9/5. The infrastructure of GCRG is vast. The entire campus is wifi enabled and classrooms and labs are properly maintained. The placement record are average but equal preferences for all the courses. All the best.
