Which College is better for Chemical Engineering overall, between NIT Durgapur, MANIT Bhopal and VNIT Nagpur?
Both the colleges have got their own legacies and histories for producing best chemical engineers and doing some fantastic research in field of chemical engineering, Jadavpur is one of the oldest universities offering chemical engineering than Nit. when you are joining the college you better see these things yourself , not only academics matter many other things comes into play like college events, culture, research going in that branch previous years placements, these all matter, you, by yourself go through the website and make some calls and make a analysis by yourself. why am I stressing to do it yourself is because these 4 years gives you the LIFE and dont go with others opinions to make your decision but takes their suggestions and validate them.
if you give me a chance to choose I will go with the jadavpur because i am very fascinated by its history of producing some of the finest chemical engineers in the world and it has got some fantastic ongoing and completed projects, and it is located in the happiest city of India Kolkata, I would preferably go for it if i were given a chance.

Hope you are doing well. All three Institutes are Institution of National Importance. All three are among old NITs and have good reputation in India. NIT Durgapur is ranked 29 while NIT Nagpur is ranked at 30. On the other hand NIT Bhopal is ranked at 65th place in NIRF Rankings . The average package in NIT Bhopal was 7.70 lakh while NIT Nagpur has average package of around 11 Lakh. NIT Durgapur has average package of around 9.09 Lakh . After considering these factors, NIT Nagpur seems to be better choice among three followed by NIT Durgapur and NIT Bhopal.
