Hindustan university is named for computer science department followed by aeronautical department.

Comparison : when talking about the universites in Chennai Hindustan university is placed at 3rd position in private university followed by vit,srm. Where Bharat is ranked at 9th position among top 10 .

Fees :Both universites have same fee structure as compared Hindustan is some what high. Both universities giving same type of scholarship about 75% ,50%,25% based on your 12th marks and there entrance exam.

Kalasalingam;-

It’s very good university,if you wish to learn more,here you can get no of opportunities like library facility,labs,etc. especially for CSE in this college is very good one. Non-CGPA activities are very helpful in placement times and also for your skills development. but now tuition fee increased as 1 lakh.

Hindustan university only matches for rich people and quality of education is little average and you can meet students and staff from all part of country especially Malayalam. No drees code so you can dress casually , Good library, Cost of expensive is high inside campus as I told before it's matches with upper middle class background. Various of Engineering domain are available but while advertisement they showcase Aeronautical is best but it's absolutely no. It's good for Electrical engineering and Mechanical. Atlast Eco friendly campus. Campus placement is very poor, one positive thing is you can get good ambient and exposure to various kinds of people.

So, keeping into consideration the ROI, placements etc, i would suggest Kalasalingam over Hindustan.
