Depending on the future plans, you have several ways to categorise the 11th and 12th colleges. If you wanna get into one of the good Btech colleges in Hyderabad, you will have to choose the colleges which prepare you for the EAMCET programme though they provide you with courses apart from EAMCET and force you into it. These kind of colleges will be mostly focusing on your board marks which play a major role in your EAMCET score and somehow make you score better marks in the exam. But, these kind of colleges will never let you think out of the box and let you learn conceptually. You'll be able crack mains utmost. Such kind of education is provided by Narayana, Chaitanya, Sri Gayatri. 

If you wanna learn concepts and in thirst of knowledge or if you want to get into one of the top most IITs, you'll have to look up for something which is not so regular and different. These kind of colleges are student friendly and they prepare you to face the reality and competition. They initiate you to think out of the box concepts. They help you grow overall. But, neither the gaureenty of boards nor the gaureenty of cracking one of the most prestigious competitive exams is given. This is the only risk you'd face in these kind of colleges. Colleges like Ramaiah, Krishnamurthy, Nano, are well reputed for training the aspirants for JEE mains and advance. 

Upon everything, learn where you stand and know your calibre and choose accordingly.
