Which college is better for mechanical engineering : VIT Vellore or Amrita coimbatore?

Hello aspirant.

Firstly both colleges are similar. But I would suggest you prefer a college near to your location. Because if you compare both the college fees they are nearly the same but VIT's fee is slightly higher.

If we compare All India Ranks of both the Universities, Amrita was ranked 15 and VIT Vellore stands on 17.

If we compare placements, the Highest salary offered in placement 2020 is 41.6 LPA. The regular offer would be greater than 3LPA.

The highest salary offered is 52LPA. The average salary offered is 6lpa.

But if you compared with infrastructure, placement alumni, etc I would suggest you go with VIT, as you will get of a lot of exposure.
