Both the universities are good.

Shivalik University offers you good package on the basis of your academic performance. But it doesn't provide good placements for all branches. Mechanicall branch doesn't have good placement record. But for other branches placements are good and average package goes around 3-4 lpa.

Faculties are also well experienced and knowledgeable but locality is not that good.

Institute is good but it needs to focus equally on all the branches , some branches do not get proper placements while some are bad with labs and equipments. so it needs improvement to become best from good.

- Roorkee College of Engineering is somewhat better than shiwalik in terms of placements as it provides placements to almost every branch. Infrastructure is good .

Faculty members are also supportive and we'll qualified.

This college is among best colleges in uttarakhand. Little bit improvement and betterment is needed in every college , so here also placement rate is improving with time , curriculum is also getting updated with time.

Placements are based on your hardwork as well. If on campus placements are not good or you are not satisfied then get good marks and try for internship first and then you can go for off campus placements as well.
