which college is better UVCE or BIT for Electronic and communication

ECE is an all round branch and placements are not a major concern for you after graduating from this branch.
Now, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) is an Tier-1 college located in Bengaluru. UVCE comes under Bangalore University and placements are pretty good there if you want to do coding then on campus placement will become easy for you, the highest tech package offered at UVCE was Rs. 50LPA. There is not much strictness regarding the attendance at UVCE.
Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) comes under VTU and the placements at BIT aren't as good when compared with UVCE. Also you will have to join almost every lecture if you Join BIT. The attendance rules are quite strict at BIT as compared to UVCE. The Non-tech placements at BIT are not good, even if you do coding and apply for a tech profile, the highest package offered in CS branch was Rs. 21LPA.
So, it will be better if you Join UVCE.

Both the colleges are very good. UVCE has the best placements for all the branches. BITS also had a great placement in the 2020 session for all the branches. The highest package in UVCE IS 8 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students here got placed. So, according to my opinion, you should go for UVCE as it is having a very good placement percentage.

Very difficult to say which one is better
Both are located downtown
Both have a long history but are no longer much preferred
Uvce is one of the oldest colleges and the only college under Bangalore University
Infrastructure is crumbling but attracts both govt and private companies for placement
Bit is more studies oriented and also gets many good companies for placements
