Which college is better vit chennai or srm ktr campus

In terms of campus facilities, area, and infrastructure, SRM takes the big lead with a lot more than what VIT(Chennai campus) has to offer.
In terms of commute, SRM is much more connected than VIT to the main city via many buses and the suburban train as well. Potheri station is just across the road from the campus gate, whereas from VIT it's relatively not that easy.
As the VIT Campus is new, quality of the classrooms, lecture halls would be fancy for a few years to come.
BUT, As far as academics and exposure are concerned, I guess VIT takes the lead by giving the students options to choose their class timings, majority of their subjects and even their professors using the Slot-based system.
The quality of education, the level of the students and even the companies coming for placement are a bit better in VIT when compared to SRM.
