Dear student

DU is not a collage. It’s a university/governing body(for UG) that provides guidelines and degree to the students studying in the colleges affililated through DU. There are more than 50 colleges under DU which ranges from one of the best in country to worse also.

Except Delhi University...the other government universities in Delhi includes

Ambedkar University Delhi , located at Lothian Road near Old Delhi railway station , Kashmere Gate.

Indira Gandhi National Open University located at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi but IGNOU provides distance learning.

Jamia Milia Islamia University located at Jamia Nagar , New Delhi.

Hope this helps

All the best !!!
