As per my knowledge, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the best engineering colleges in Punjab. Amazing faculty, infrastructure, campus life, comfortable accommodation, food, and placement facilities make TIET worth it. Almost 80 - 85% of placements have been offered by the college. Internships provided are quite good at Thapar as faculty have a strong corporate network. It has a dedicated training and placement cell that makes sure that every student gets an internship.Admissions for the new batch are going on. Hello ,
In Punjab there are many colleges but the best among them are these :-
In government colleges :-
1. IIT Ropar
2. NIT Jalandhar
3. Punjab Engineering College , Chandigarh .
4. Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology , Longowal .
In Private you have :-
1. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology , Patiala .
2. Chandigarh University , Chandigarh .
3. LPU Jalandhar .
The best private college among these are Thapar but fee is high , if you can have scholarship on your merit or you can afford it go for it otherwise try government colleges . Other private colleges are also costly .
But Government colleges are affordable , IIT Ropar is best in the above all even better than Thapar . NIT Jalandhar is also a good option , if you don't get IIT and NIT you can try in PEC or SLIET , they are to decent colleges .
