Colleges one can get into vary by the state and by course applying for, that too with CET (Common Entrance Test) . For example
Engineering:
- Karnataka CET: KCET or R.V. College of Engineering, B.M.S. College of Engineering and MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are few
- Maharashtra CET: Gets one institutes such as VJTI Mumbai, COEP Pune and PICT Pune
Medical:
- Maharashtra CET (MH CET): Top medical colleges are - Grant Medical College Mumbai, BJ Medical College.
- Karnataka CET (KCET) : Bangalore Medical College and Mysore Medical College accepts KCET.
Other Courses:
- Agriculture: Agricultural courses are available in several CETs such as AP EAMCET, where some top colleges are the Agricultural University and College of Agriculture.
