Actually, you can apply for the lateral entry for engineering which allows admissions to the second year of engineering. In Maharashtra, the DTE does this. So all Pune colleges will have to be through this. Details can be checked at http://dse17.dtemaharashtra.org/dse17/?did=751. There is MIT, Sinhgad College, D Y Patil to name some colleges.
