Which college will I get when in boards I get 62% and in mht cet 67 marks for computer science branch
Hello Sahil,
First, you should pass the criteria of PCM total in your 12th boards exam. If you belong to open category then you should have a total of 150 marks or above out of 300 in PCM. If you belong to OBC, then 135 or above & if you belong to SC then 120 or above.
The admission to engineering colleges depends on the cast wise cutoffs. It also depends on various other factors such as - whether you belong to the Home university or other than home university, PwD category, etc.
I am attaching a link here which will help you to get a look at last years cutoffs for various engineering colleges.
https://images.careers360.mobi/sites/default/files/MHT-CET-2018-Cap-Round1-Cutoff.pdf
Please find the cutoffs in the link above as per the given procedure.
For example - if you belong to open category and your 12th college comes under Pune university, then it is your Home University (HU). All other universities will be termed as (OHU) - other than home university. So you will have to look for cutoffs related to GOPENH if you will be looking for Engg colleges in Pune university and GOPENO if you are looking for Engg colleges apart from Pune University.
As I dont know your category and home university I cannot answer which college you can expect at 67 marks for CS branch. If you also provide me the city in which you want to pursue engg, I can help you out.
Hope this helps.
According to your MHT CET marks, you can get the following colleges:
MIT Gondia
Baba Ramdeo college of engineering
Priyadarshini college of engineering
However, if you are looking for CS branch, then it is recommended to go for the colleges provided by other entrance exams.
