which colleges offer courses for OCI AND NIR IN INDIA?
Hey mate!
I will recommend that you write SAT (Math 2, Physics & Chemistry) and apply to NITs. Trihcy and Surathkal are the best while Warangal and Nagpur are close second. I studied in NIT Trichy 30 years ago, did my master's in the US, started my own business. India education is good even though rankings may not be that good. My son who is a US citizen (but did most of his schooling in India) is currently studying in NIT Surathkal. If you can crack JEE Advanced then IIT should be your aim but this requires lots of preparation. The fee for foreign students (DASA - Direct Admission of Students from Abroad) is USD 4K per semester. So tis is USD 32k for 4 year program and another 8K for hostel and dining. People with degrees from top 50 Engineering Institutions have done extremely well in the international arena. For a person of India origin raised in the US, living and experiencing Indian life is good. It will be challenging but I am sure few adjustments to your expectations you can enjoy it.
Hope it helps.
