550+ marks indeed a very good marks. You will surely get a good government medical college if you ensure more than 550 marks in NEET 2018.

Scoring more than 550 marks in NEET is indeed a good score. However, it solely depends on Percentile i.e. in simple terms, how many candidates do better than you in the same test. Based on previous years, your rank will be between 800 - 1500. So you need to be in the top one thousand to get into a decent college of your choice. Also, it depends on which college you are opting for, Government or Private as well as the Category.
