I haven't come across any case where a company doesn't allow 2 year droppers to sit for the placement drive.
Every company has its own eligibility criteria and if you are able to meet all of them,you are surely eligible for their placements.
However,all companies tend to ask the reason of dropping and you need to very carefully tackle this situation.A very smart answer is required for this especially when the point is of dropping for two years.

No, there is not any kind of eligibility criteria for any company that they won't allow the second year droper during the time of placement, but yaah if you have standing arrears and not coming under the eligibility range of the company then surely they won't allow you to sit in the placement of that respective company. Meanwhile if you are dropping your second year then they might definitely goona ask you the reason for that. So be ready with the answer.
