which computer languages or basics a cse student need to learn before joining 1st year of computer science engineering. plz reply

You don't need to learn a programming language before first year the only you thing you need to have is maths till 12th in my college there were biology students but had maths who joined in CSE because you are taught from basics of programming you will be started with C programming but it will be a plus point if you knew programming before i will suggest you to learn C,C++ in starting as it is a good language and will help in future

It is not as such compulsory but is definitely appreciable if you have knowledge of any programming language beforehand.
In first year, you will be taught C, followed by C++, Java, Python and others in next semesters.
It will be good for you if you have knowlege of C/C++ as other languages will not take much time, just you will need to change the syntaxes and learn the libraries which are their.
