Hello there, Sanket.  Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) is a traditional course which is not specialised in the field of business management but it focuses more on accounting and finances. In order to go for business development, you need to pursue business management specialised courses like Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Business Management (BBM).

Bachelor of Business Administration: BBA is a 3 year undegraduate management course which includes the subject matters of all the activities (like marketing, accounting) which is performed in business and organisations. After pursuing the course, you may have all the skills and knowledge to manage all the business dimensions.

Careers after doing BBA:

After doing BBA, you will be eligible to apply for some highly required positions like Accounting Head, Financial Advisor and Consultant, Business and Market Analyst, etc.

Bachelor of Business Management: BBM is a three year undergraudate course in management which deals with the various management practicies, organisational environments, human resource management, marketing management, business studies. This 3 year course will give you an enrich management experience to manage and handle the organisations.

Careers after BBM: After pursuing BBM, you will be eligible to apply as the positions of Project Manager, Human Resource Manager, Area Manager, Divisional Manager, etc.

Differences between BBA and BBM: BBA and BBM are very closely related with each other but the major differences are as follows:

-BBA courses covers up the whole organisation subject matters and is not specialised in any department or field inside business. After pursuing this course, one may have the perfect knowledge about the overall operations inside business, but they will not be specialised in any particular field. On the other side, Bachelor of Business Management course is a purely specialised course in management sector and does not covers all the business dimensions. A person will be more competent and expertise in the field of management after pursuing this course.

Both these courses are highly required and you may choose anyone of them depending upon your choice and goal. If you want to have a detailed study of organisational related matters then go for BBA but if you want to build your career in Management then go for BBM.

I hope I was able to provide you the better information. All the best!!

Hello Sanket,

For high buissness development you don't require any course like B.com, BBA and many more.It requires skills like Analysis, Aptitude, Attitude, Collaboration, Adaptability apart form other academic skills along with understanding the sector in which one wants to work.

You can go for entrepreneur if you have any idea and you want to implement it as a career option.
