Bachelor of Science or BSc. in Food Technology is a full-time undergraduate program which is 3-years duration course. It is the branch of science that deals with all technique and activities involved in preserving, processing and manufacturing the food products. All techniques and processing method to develop, research, manufacturing, production, preserve and process the food or related substance are covered by the food technology. It also includes an advanced study of techniques and activities which are involved in Preserving, Processing, and Manufacturing of food.
Whereas, BSc. Home Science is a three to four years undergraduate degree programme which deals with the study of food nutrition, health, environment, and human development. It further aims to incorporate the knowledge of biological sciences physical and social sciences.
Both of the fields have very much scope. I would suggest you to choose your area of interest.
