Hi Saraswathi,

This is one of the most hyped questions about what branch to chose, which branch will provide with a better placement. So the answer to this question also has mixed reviews. Some people say that CSE is the best branch and scope will never get over, some say that Mechanical is good or ECE is good. Although very less people will say that EEE has  a good future. But the truth is that every branch has its own importance. Now up till now the major work in EEE was only in Government sector, but now with the modernisation of technology, electricity will also be modernised. Whereas CSE department is said that the craze for it is so much that the jobs will be filled for CSE in not more than 5 years. So the scope for CSE is not very good in coming future. Mechanical Engineering and ECE are the branches which will work for the future and will provide the major scope.

So, I would say that if it were my choice to be made, I would've selected ECE instead of CSE, because their the crowd is more and hence the competition is more, plus the jobs are reducing at a major pace.

I hope I was able to clear your doubt

Thank you

I would say go with your Interest. Because these 2 completely different fields. But if you ask my preference then I would go with EEE, because then I'll have opportunity for both government and private placements. Whereas in ECE the government placements are considerably less in this.

Yes sure they can go, but you're electrical skills won't be of any use there. You should be good at programming in atleast 2-3 languages. You may take up C++, Python, and Dart. These will help you

Hello,

If you want to go in the govt sector go for eee and ece branch as there are many choices like placement in psu by cracking gate .

If you can go in the private sector then go for cse definitely as in the future, the it sector will prevail to its best as time passes.

Now try to choose the subject of your interest and enjoy 4 years of college life.

All the best!!!
