BCS is a three year Under Graduate course with specialization in the domain of a computer science, software , and hardware related aspects. the course is a bachelor level program which covers the areas like programming, software, hardware, and networking. this course is specially designed for those who want to learn the core and theoritical concepts of computer science and like to have a career in research fields.

now coming to Btech cse is a 4 year undergraduate course designed for technical and practical knowledge on computer hardware and software. it consists of knowledge about computer applications ans systems. it deals with the designing and developing web applictions , mobile applications , network security and administration, software development, data mining and many more. in this course students will be taught about programming languages, digital and analogue electronics , networking etc. btech cse has a slight edge over bcs as btech cse students are highly in demand but above all good grasp of knowlwdge will lend every one a good job.

Bachelor of Computer Science is 3 years of Graduation course while BTech is 4 years of Graduation course after which you will get Engineer's Degree. After B. Tech in Computer science and engineering you have more placement opportunities as compared to BCS. BCS is the last option if you have not scored well in Entrance Examinations.
