Hello Aspirant, Hope you are doing good.
Scope after BDS :
BDS candidates can also adopt the teaching profession as a lecturer in any private or government dental institutes or colleges. Generally, fresh graduates who have a knack for teaching pursue careers in academics. They can also teach in state government colleges as a teaching faculty.
The salary range of a BDS will be minimum Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1.5 lakh. For this, the candidate must clear the MOH (Ministry of Health) exam which is not that difficult to clear.
Scope after BAMS:
As an ayurvedic pharmacist, one might work at a government hospital. Candidates who complete this course will be able to create their own Ayurvedic medicine retail outlet. BAMS graduates can potentially pursue a teaching career. They can get work in both private and public ayurvedic institutes.
You can earn upto 2-5 lakh based on the stream you choose.
I would recommend BDS over BAMS since it has a broader reach. After graduating from dental school, In comparison to BAMS, it boasts a 100% job placement rate. But it depends on the personal interest .
Hope this information helps you.
All the best.
