Hi Anupama,
In order to become IAS officer you have to complete your graduation first after passing your higher secondary examination. There is no specific course or stream required. What is needed is that the candidate should have bachelor degree in any stream or should be in final year of graduation.
Then you will have to crack Civil service examination conducted by UPSC. UPSC conducts civil services examination in three following phases:
i) Preliminary examination
ii) Mains
iii) Personal Interview
