Honestly both the courses don't have much difference , as people sssay, but major difference is CSE is more valued and demanded branch.

Academically CSE student is more versatile and advanced than CSE and has more and better job oppurtunities than IT student.In IT its all about Software , in CS it all about Sofwtare + Hardware + OS core.
