Both the programs are good. It depends on your interest which program you want to go for. BSc Computer Science is one of the most popular programs in the IT domain. This field has the potential to propel your career. It is a consistently growing field with a large variety of job opportunities both in India and abroad as the industry and demand grows. This degree can lead you to profiles like computer scientist or an information systems manager or a networking specialist whose job is to draw the technological roadmap for the organization, ensure efficient management of the available computer facilities, handle smooth functioning of the local area and wide area networking, implement cyber security systems, look after software and hardware system upgrading, and manage system designing and technical analysis for the organization.

On the other hand BCA program provide an introduction to the fundamentals of Information Technology, Imparts knowledge on networks tools and techniques by understanding various existing wired and wireless networking models and protocols. The course includes Open Systems Interconnection communication model, local area networks, bridges, routers, and gateways, addressing, and local and remote procedures.

Simulating the physical layer basics, network protocol algorithms, error handling, flow control, multihop routing network reliability, timing, advanced network protocols, and infrastructure, applications of high-performance networks.

Bcs is good but if you made your life by profession so bca is best for you.

If you compare between the placement scenario of both the courses in L.P.U then its cse which comes on top.
It's not only the engineering course with maximum number of placements but also the  one which gives maximum package record almost every year.
Taking about last year placements a student got placed with the top package of 42 l.p.a.
However bca course  also has good placement record there.

Further ,I will also suggest you to persuit course according to your interest and not looking at placement scenario.
However final call is yours.
