BAMS:
Ayurveda is widely accepted in India as an alternative to western medicine. If you are interested in the traditional Indian system of medicine and are ready to deal with difficult languages like Sanskrit, then go for BAMS. Moreover, the course also puts less financial burden on you, since its fee is much lesser than that of MBBSCareer Opportunities after completion of degree:
After BDS:

Hello,
Both are the different courses, choosing a course a course by your interest.
If you are interested in Ayurvedic medicine you should choose BAMS and if you interested in dentistry you can go for BDS.
According to records I would suggest you for BDS as it has more scope as compared to BAMS. But the package depends on the organization & your skill & experience also.
Hope this helps
Thank you
Hello,
Hope you are doing well,
BAMS and BDS are both two different fields of medical science. BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicines and Science and BDS stands for Bachelor of Dental Surgery. As the name suggests that BDS is a specialist in Dental Surgery. After successfully completing BDS, you can choose a variety of careers such as dentist, Orthodontist, Dental Hygienist, Dental Technician and other related roles. After successfully completing the BAMS program, you can choose MD or M.S. Ayurveda in any related technology. The BAMS program will provide you with support to build a career as an Ayurvedic Physician.
I hope this will clear your thoughts regarding both the fields.
Thank you!!
