I am explaining you about both the branches of engineering, you can decide for the branch to opt as per your interest.

Mechatronics Engineering is the branch  which integrates the classical fields of mechanical, electrical engineering, mathematics, and computer science/information technology.

The job profiles offered to Mechatronics Engineer are as follows:

  • Robotics Test Engineers

  • Robotics Systems Engineer

  • Robotics specialists

  • Analysts

  • Researchers

Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering- Students pursuing this course are provided training in the field of electronic controls and communications engineering, electrical machines, semiconductor devices.

Students are also trained to study robotics.

Scope after this branch of engineering is also good. With a surge in the usage of smartphones, demand for electronics and instrumentation engineers have increased in the companies. Engineers are also in demand in medical field.
