Hello Sri Hari,

Choosing between both of these Master's degree is always a dilemma. But if we look at some of the factors than we can sort it out. The factors include:

  • Either the candidate has done BCA or BSc in its Bachelor.
  • If the candidate has done BSc, is he/she has done it in Computer Science?
  • Either the candidate is interested in Computer Applications or Management skills.

Now, let me evaluate the above factors.

If the Candidate has pursued with the BCA then he/she has a grip over its course and known mich about Computer applications, so must pursue in MCA. Same is the case with the BSc Computer Science applicants, they has some strenght over their subject, so if they want they may easily go ahead with MCA.

Now, if we come around the other courses that candidates pursue as their Bachelor's. They must opt MBA as their future reference because there would be some difficulty in overcoming the computer problems because they do not ever encounter with any in their 3 year course of Bachelor's.

But yeah, if the candidate really want to improve its management skills, want to be a part of entrepreneurship etc. then they must go to MBA, doesn't matter if they are from BCA.

So, go throughout all the factors and choose wisely.

For any further information you may ask at this platform.

Thank you.

MBA and MCA are master's degree. Both are equally good. Both are different field, so choose wisely. Go with your choice. Both are capable of getting good jobs.

According to me, doing MBA will help you get better jobs. It doesn't mean MCA has less scope. MBA people are more known for their business tactics and they help in uplifting the business organisation of the company, where MCA people deals with the technology part to cope up with the company's needs. Generally, MBA companies offer high salary packages.
