IT: Information Technology deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to store, protect process, transmit and securely retrieve data. IT professionals perform a variety of tasks that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases.

I would like to tell you that as you have not studied computers in class 12th you would have some problems but you can join a couree so as to clear your basics.

I would suggest you to further go for the stream which interests you the most. All the streams have a good scope these days so dont worry for that.
