In general, it depends on your interests.
The course work for a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, or B. Pharma, is mostly focused on how to construct different formulations such tablets, capsules, parenterals, etc. Additionally, there are many prospects for research in the pharmacy sector if you have an interest in its disciplines like pharmacology and pharmaceutics.
However, pharma.d focuses more on applications for hospitals. In foreign countries when patients speak with pharmacists on medication dose and schedule, it is more helpful. Even MBBS doctors in India are no longer given much consideration. Everyone favours consulting a specialist, especially
Therefore, both fields are often equally good. I would advise choosing a b.pharma degree if your interest is more in chemistry, and a pharma.d degree if your interest is more in biology.
