Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, also known as B.ASLP is a four years undergraduate paramedical programme. The course is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Audiology is a field which involves the study of sound balance and hearing disorder in people. Speech Language Pathology is a field which deals with the study of evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, voice and swallowing disorder in the people. The aim of the programme is to make students competent by making them learn basic diagnosis skills and treatment of patients with speech, language and hearing disorders.

Holding a graduate degree in audiology and speech language pathology open doors for vast career options for BASLP graduates. A graduate in BASLP can work in a rehabilitation centre where he or she can treat patients who are suffering from hearing/speech balance/ swallowing disorder. In the hospitals or private clinics, a BASLP graduate can work in departments such as ENT, Neurology or Paediatrics.
