Which course is better bms through du jat or bba
BBA stands for Bachelor of Business Administration and BMS stands for Bachelor of Management Studies. These two courses are more or less the same and some universities give the name as BBA and some universities give the name as BMS.
BBA is a general management course. Generally, the course doesnt focus on any specific discipline or sub-field within the field of management. It covers all the basic elements of management education. Thats why it is labelled as a general management course.
This general management course covers basic topics like HR management, organizational behaviour, business communication, management skills, office/organization administration, finance management, business laws, business ethics, accounting, planning, international business, retail management, supply chain management, marketing and operations management.
Bachelor of Management Studies or BMS is an undergraduate program for managment studies offered by many universities throughout the world. The course allows you to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to assume management positions in a wide range of organizations.
Topics to learn in BMS
This newly developed course comes with Three different Main Topics such as Finance , Marketing or Human Resource. At the second year of this course you have to choose one between these three.
Both the courses are really good. It depends on your interest and also the college you are applying for. If you are neutral about your interest, and are looking for a job only, then look at the colleges which offer better placements.
My personal suggestion would be, if you are getting top institute for BMS like Shaheed Sukhdev College, you should definitely opt for BMS instead of BBA.
All the best.
