Which course is better BSC mathematics or economics honours?
It depends on what you want as a career. Both the subjects need extensive studies. Both require high level of logical thinking.
If you are interested in mathematics, then opt for mathematics. There's no point going for economics in that case. Mathematics require extensive studies of theorems and proofs and require to be rigorous with your work. Academic scope is there in mathematics as well as industrial. Companies look for mathematicians for their calculations and handling data.
Economics need maths in its approach. It deals with the demand and supply of market using mathrmamathe tools. There are so many career options available in this field either in academics or in industry or any corporate company.
There are always some points that will make one subject look greater than other. It all comes down to your choice where you want to go. Both the subjects are equally good.

According to me BA (Hons) Economics is the best carrer option becuase if you take up this course you get Math and Statistics as well as one of the paper. You can join any bank even the central bank or any financial institutions or any firm and many other things. If you plan to run your own business it will be of a great help to you. And on the other hand if you do Bsc (Hons) Mathematics you will have limited scope and if you want to run your own business it will not help you.
In Economics Honours, you are ready for job after graduation itself (may be you have to do MBA).
In Mathematics Honours, you have study more to get a job. Mathematics honours is a highly prestigious course too.
At the end your interest matters. I hope you make the best decision for yourself.
Best of luck.
