The courses of pharmacy have different levels with different eligibility criteria-
D-Pharm is the Diploma of Pharmacy.It’s a 2 years course. The minimum qualification required is 10 +2 from science stream. You will get a lateral entry in 2nd year of B-Pharma course. But it will take you 5 years to do a Bachelor degree as compared to B-Pharma. This gives you having a Pharmacy Shop License.
B.Pharm is the B-Pharma is the Bachelor of Pharmacy. It is a 4 years course. The minimum qualification required is 10+2 from science stream. The job prospects here are related to business, marketing, production and manufacturing, IT companies,hospital & health care, industrial,research and development.You can also go for M.Pharm after this for higher studies.
There's also Pharma D which stands for Doctor of Pharmacy is a Post Graduate Doctorate Degree program(5 years academic program + 1 year internship).This is almost equivalent to B.Pharm + M.Pharm.
Now, coming to your questions, between D Pharma and B Pharma, clearly B Pharma course have better job prospects.You can appear for WBJEE since it conducts pharmacy exams.
