Which course is better in a view of placement, job opportunity, scope IT or ECE

It's all upto you and your interest. You can get job oppurtunity in any of these fields. In IT you will study about the processers, compilers and many other thing but it will test your real coding skills. Whereas in ECE you will study about microcontrollers, Antenna, VLSI design and other.
In ECE you have various oppurtunity in PSU's like BSNL, AAI, HPCL, Electronics corporation of India Limited and many other.

Placements, job opportunity and scope I'm going to say everything in detail.
Both of the groups have very beautiful scope in feature we can under estimate any of the groups as both hold their pros and cons.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY and ECE:
the future is all about artificial intelligence and machine learning which is going to be developed by IT and designed by ECE. Talking about placements more private companies recruiting IT and ECE but there are no jobs for IT in govt. Every ECE guy can join IT company but no IT guy can to ECE jobs.
Conclusion: if you are passionate about pure coding the go for IT or interested in electrical par go for ECE and the decision is up to you.
